My Rates - Fly Fishing Guide

SPING/SUMMER Guiding rates as from 1st OCTOBER 2019 To 30th APRIL 2020.

Half Day Guided Fly Fishing. (4-5 hours ) $390.00 NZ Guiding 1-2 people per trip, your Taupo or NZ Fishing Licences are extra at $20.00 daily.
  
                                  
Full Day Fishing Trips (8-9 hours)

 $640.00 NZ Guiding 1-2 people per trip  your Taupo fishing licences are extra at $20.00 daily.

 A hamper style lunch is included on all full day trips.

All trips are limited to 1 or 2 anglers only and licences can be purchased on line in advance if you wish.If fishing the Taupo Fishery, licences are available from the Dept of Conservation web site at Buy a Taupo Fishing Licence.(We can obtain licences for you on the day ).Note;DoC fishing licences are valid for the Taupo Fishery only and all other NZ fishing regions including our back country rivers must be purchased on line from NZ Fish & Game.

  Full Day Back country Rivers, Full day trips $720.00 Guiding 1-2 anglers, your NZ fishing   licence fees are extra.

  NZ residents $21.00 daily licence, $130.00 Full Season licence.

  Non  Resident licences, $34.00 daily licence.

  Wilderness North Island Rivers are accessible by Helicopter and these rates are available on request.I guide on the Mohaka, Ngaruroro and Rangitikei Rivers.

  The upper Tongariro River is accessible by raft and I use the professional services of Tongariro River Rafting, their rafting guide rate $650.00 per raft.This is a full day trip suitable for all fly fishing skill levels and offers a wilderness experience for those of all fitness levels.

 

All fishing gear will be provided if required and vehicle pick up service is included by Peter Wilton , Trout Fishing NZ and New Zealand fly fishing tours. If bringing your own waders and boots, reels and fly lines from overseas please ensure all gear has been throughly checked, cleaned and dried as you will be closely inspected by NZ Customs on your arrivial.Also NOTE, FELT SOLED wading boots have been baned on NZ waters, this as a biosecurity precaution against the threat of introducing invasive species such as Didymo.
